Responsibilities
- Knowledge of SANs, and NAS-related technologies
- Net App SAN skills as Primary (L2/L3 Level)
- Should have knowledge on both C-Mode & 7-Mode
- Configuration and Management of enterprise-class disk arrays particularly Snap Drive experience is mandatory
Knowledge of Cisco Fiber Channel SAN switch products Data Fabric Manager & scripting a plus Should be good in Brocade /Cisco switch - Adept at identifying and eliminating performance bottlenecks and making performance-related recommendations (hardware, software, configuration)
- Knowledgeable about networking concepts: basic TCP/IP, Solaris network commands, and / or Linux network commands, and tools used to troubleshoot network-related problems
Skills/Requirements
A good technical and operational understanding of storage administration role with working knowledge
of high/medium/low severity level 3 ticket handling, systems and tools, including: iTAM, incident and change management. Excellent oral and written communications skills
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field and/or 3 to 5 years of experience in NetApp Storage.
